Sampling route example

Bottle packaging needs a sample route before the box becomes a launch risk.

Wine, spirits and premium bottle gifts are heavier than many retail products. A useful sample should test the bottle fit, insert support, surface finish and carton packing details before bulk production.

01

Send bottle details

Share bottle height, diameter, cap shape, weight and whether one or two bottles go into each box.

02

Confirm structure and insert

Choose lid-and-base, magnetic, book-style or drawer structure, then check neck and base support.

03

Review the sample

Check bottle movement, opening feel, paper finish, logo position and whether the box looks gift-ready.

04

Plan carton and handoff

Confirm carton size, carton weight and freight notes because rigid bottle boxes can quickly increase volume.

Why this matters

The goal is to catch fit, finish and carton-size problems while changes are still cheap, not after the bulk order is packed.

Better bottle fit

The insert can be corrected before bulk production.

Cleaner finish decision

Foil, texture and logo size can be checked on a real sample.

Fewer freight surprises

Carton size and weight are known earlier.

Safer launch timing

The buyer can approve the structure before production starts.

Share the box or bag style, size, quantity and destination. Artwork is helpful, but not required for the first estimate. If your project has recycled paper, FSC paper, plastic-free packaging or supplier code requirements, send them before sampling.
